Aquarius was built in 1969 by a master craftsman in Baltimore MD. I purchased her in Mystic Connecticut in 1999. Single handed her down to St. Petersburg FL. Where I mostly rebuilt her from the mast down. New deck, converted her from outboard to inboard diesel, Complete new Electrical and Plumbing, complete new interior and much more. I have been building boats since I was a kid. Professionally for 7 years when I designed and produced the Bluewater 14 and the Blackwatch 24. I Built over 140 boats before the interest rates went so high in 1980 and we had to shut the plant down because our dealers could not afford to floor plan very many boats.
The reason for selling Aquarius? I finally retired and had planned to spend a lot of my time sailing her, but, do to a recent health problems, my plans have changed.
Aquarius is ready to go sailing. As for the price, I have over $60,000 invested, but will entertain all offers. She is located in a premiere location, 9 miles south of Miami, FL, 3 miles south of Coconut Grove. If I sell her, she would have to be relocated, as there is a five and a half year waiting list for slips. There might be a way around that if you wanted that location.
